About the Cast
Elise Brennan - Ashlee - New York
Elise has a long history of
performance as an actress, singer and dancer. Elise began her training at the
Top Hat School of Performing arts and latterly the Performing Arts School
Galway, participating in numerous shows and Speech and Drama awards. Performances
with the Galway Youth Theatre fostered her love of performance and, Elise is now
in her final year as an undergraduate at UCD studying English and Drama. Elise
is currently the auditor of UCD’s DanceSoc as well as a performer for Jane
Shorthall Dance Agency, appearing in projects such as RTE’s Off the Rails and
as a back-up dancer for Irish pop artist, Sean Dempsey. Elise is also large
part of the college’s vibrant theatre scene having performed in shows from ‘Attempts
on her Life,’ to ‘Footloose’ and ‘The Wedding Singer,’ as well as in Smock
Alley Theatre for the UCD M.A directing students in ‘The Flame,’ and more. Elise
recently undertook the Advanced Actor Training Programme at the Abbey School.
Zoe Reynolds - Trina - Dublin
Zoe has been acting from an early
age, beginning her training at the Gladys Sheehan School of Acting. Zoe has
been involved in a number of stage schools and groups from the Leinster School
of Music and Drama, to Festival Productions, the Irish Academy of Music, No
Tears Productions, Dramsoc UCD and more. Zoe has had the opportunity to perform
in many of Ireland’s most famous theatres and concert halls such as the
National Concert Hall, the Olympia Theatre, the Gaiety and the Point as a
result of such involvement. Zoe has appeared in a number of plays and musicals,
including Babes in the wood, Suppressed
Desires, Five Minute Flight, Canaries, Say Cheese, Slice of Saturday night,
Half a Sixpence, The Wedding Singer, Footloose, Kinder (original devised
piece), A Very Potter Musical, Beauty and
the Beast, Annie, Sleeping Beauty, Oliver and many more.
Producer, writer,
director and actress in Three Cities, Lisa Carroll recently completed her undergraduate degree in English at University College Dublin. Lisa’s lifelong
passion for theatre was nurtured at the Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre, Guildford,
where she performed, directed, stage managed and offered musical direction for
a number of shows from Emil and the
Detectives to Cold Comfort Farm and
Tess of the D’Ubervilles. Having
trained in acting on the one year foundation course in London’s prestigious
Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, appearing in works such as As You Like It and Saki
Stories (devised) Lisa went on to read English at UCD. Work with UCD
Dramsoc has included sitting on the committee, directing shows (including A Couple of Poor Polish Speaking Romanians which
was chosen to represent Dramsoc at the 2009 ISDA awards in Limerick),
performing in numerous plays such as Our
Country’s Good and Rent, as well
as her own original work. Lisa lived and studied in Santa Barbara, California for a year where she was performed with Improvability, UCSB's premier improve troupe. Lisa has studied playwriting under the tutelage of
Jon Robin Baitz (Other Desert Cities, The
Substance of Fire, hit television series Brothers and Sisters) and Erin
Cressida Wilson (Secretary, Fur, Chloe).
